Well, in my view, it doesn't make sense try and comment GAOTD like this if what is offered here is just the BASIC limited version of the main commercial program.In fact, what kind of suggestions and improvements should I give to the developer, if I can't try for FREE the PRO version? LOL!!
So forget GAOTD STANDARD EDITIONS programs and use better and more professional FREE alternatives instead, kissing your wallet & the GAOTD update limitation goodbye:

A $40 DVD slideshow with no transition effects, pan/zoom or editing and you can't set photo duration. Wow.

There is transition effects and can set photo duration, even music duration. Click on the "timeline" over the right lower corner, and in the timeline strip, you have full control over the timing, duration of all photo and effects.
Too bad the next line "We value your support & privacy & will not share your e-mail address" is missing!
I will skip this one.
