Upgraders beware:
I did not uninstall my original copy before installing this one. Now I cannot get this version to work it keeps saying bad activation code (guess it's getting the old out of date one from somewhere). I've uninstalled and reinstall the new version and still no joy. So now all I have is a trial version.
Well, it works pretty well on Win 7 and copy DVD to iso or rip DVD to HD video very fast. Thx GOTD! But for mac os x users, i'd like to choose mac dvd ripper from mac-videoconverter.com , which also supports to the ripping function.
If you have kids and loads of DVDs that you treasure then Win X DVD Copy Pro is for you. the amount of times I have come home and the little darlings have had your DVD collection out and used them as a mat to put cups on or left them lying around on the floor getting scratched let alone the cost of replacing them but then there are some DVDs you can't replace.
But with Win X DVD Copy Pro you can copy your DVDs use the copies and put the originals away in a safe place after all it is cheaper to buy blank DVDs than replacing the originals!!!
I use windows 7 64bit and Win X DVD Copy Pro installed without a hitch and it is very well laid out and easy to use.
This is one GOTD that you don’t want to miss out on.
@12 ... I had the same problem. Go to the link in the Readme file, fill in your name and valid e-mail address, and click get activation code. They will e-mail it to you and then just enter it in the program. Hope this helps.

The install was simple and easy. Registration requires you to put in a valid email address. I opened the program and decided to do a test run on the DVD Monsters Inc. The program froze and is currently stuck on "Loading DVD:UNDEDFINED Please wait..."
I have had to terminate the program twice using Process Lasso (thanks GAOTD :D ) and it is still not responding after leaving it to work away. I am running Windows XP Service Pack 3 with 2GB RAM and I am disappointed that this software isn't working for me. If anyone could offer help I would appreciate it.
