what is the difference between this WinX DVD Copy Pro and WinX DVD Ripper Platinum?

A very good program, highly recommended. I have the previous giveaway version. I'm going to make the educated guess that this invalidates me from updating it to this latest version, via another giveaway ? If that is incorrect, I would like to know.
