Vidmore DVD Creator (Each DVD Creator) has no use today since most PCs and laptops no longer have optical drive.

Freddy Orain,
So you say. Speak for yourself. Plenty of us still use DVD's.

Freddy Orain, How sad 'Freddy', such unnecessary comments that, as far as I can tell, are merely to try to show off some kind of false ego you have about your own tech knowledge. Aldi's indeed!! HoHum...
DVD occasional backup still an option for REAL tech savvy folk, and this Vidmore program is fine for that when, as most do, you buy an external DVD/CD player, under $20; worth it for all but faux 'experts' like yourself

"most PCs and laptops no longer have optical drive."
The long and short of it is that DVD discs are the cheapest, *local* long term storage available, with the best longevity to boot. That said, they still sell tons of video DVDs, and while video Blu-ray isn't as popular [because of Heavy DRM?], they provide the highest quality video [in terms of bit rate] you'll likely be able to get your hands on. As far as many PCs & laptops not including optical drives, they cost money, not just for the drives but the added engineering and manufacturing for the case, so not including them increases profits.

gives you just what you paid for. ;)
There's a reason quality is more expensive than bargain basement.
