ThunderSoft, but you happily pirate GPLv3 licensed FFMPEG libraries in your products by incorporating them into a propietary closed source non-GPLv3 compatible licensed products like todays and do not give credit to FFMPEG open source project without which your products could not exist and do no provide a copy of the GPLv3 license text in with your distribution.

The problem with these protection breakers is that they require paid upgrades after the encryption inevitably changes.

Installed under 32 bit Vista SP2+ updated to October 2019 monthly rollup patch level and on execution after install I get a small alert box uninformitively stating "Load library failed." what library has failed to load is not mentioned anywhere and that leaves one to either assume the program is buggy or broken in some unknown way OR an unanounced system requirement is the presence of iTunes in some shape or form ... either way Thundersoft... Fail! So uninstalling.
Before anyone quips why would you want to remove DRM from M4V files if you dont have iTunes? Well one could have old content or downloaded M4V content from a friend or from an iStore account that is no longer active or has been deleted or the iPhone, iPod, iPad no longer functions but the previously purchassed M4V left on old backup archives and no iTunes left on the machine as it's a resource hog and is usually better removed if no longer used regularly with IOS devices. I was just curious if it works to removed DRM by itself or uses iTunes to strip DRM and then re-encode the media without DRM. Presumably it is the latter but the devlopers do not want to admit that or abide by the license terms of the GPLv3 licensed FFPMEG DLL's this program uses as usual for these video conversion utilites we get offered. From the FFMPEG avcodec-57.dll the text string included states:
014A2414 libavcodec license: GPL version 3 or later
The full -version list of compile time switches is in there too and shows it was built using GPLv3 license and NOT the LGPLv3 license so it's inclusion in a closed source products installer is a breach of GPLv3 terms as is not attributing FFMPEG open source project for providing the source and program binaries that made the product possible and by not including a copy of the text of GPLv3 text in any part of the distribution.
