IT says that it changes the system settings.
IF you unload the program I doubt that the settings will be changed back also

Joergen, there is a settings reset option. However, I used it but it didn't seem to reverse the changes - my broadband speed did not improve after Throttle slowed it down.

Nothing can increase speed of something doing it fastest already, this does not test and optimize / maximize, which is all any software can do.
Well, software could also watch and collect data as to why there are variances in responsiveness, and identify the source -- your software, your hardware, your internet service provider, in between relays, the web host, advertisements subhosted, and so on.
Then make recommendations, allowing you to block intermediate hops, block extraneous web page information ( advertisements and other data from different hosts ) compare service providers, precache certain sites, and so on.
This does none of that.
Yet.
If they are reading, I've just described a product waiting to be developed.

I'm a little leery of PGWARE's phrase in the last paragraph that says, "the changes it makes to your computer are completely safe and permanent." PERMANENT? What happens if you uninstall the software? Do the changes to your registry and system go back to the default settings? SMH on this one.
