And what after reinstalling OS?Data on hdd/usb,etc are still encrypted?We have to buy in that case your software or throw data through windows? :)
Correction : the alleged, fake list price for Steganos Safe 18 is not 135 $ as I had misread ; it's 196 $ ! For that matter, they could have set it at 2 000 $, why not ?
That's a good point.
Also, when not given away, the price is not cheap. And Steganos uses that irritating marketing gimmick of pretending to sell you at a huge rebate. You know that the real price is 36 $, and not the supposed, ridiculous 135 $ price that they have allegedly marked down "especially for you, my friend", like carpet hagglers on some Moroccan souk.
But what if you took advantage of the present offer, downloaded Steganos for free, had to reinstall at some point in the future, were obliged to buy the program, and discovered that the rebate is gone ? And realised that you really need to fork out 135 $ to get your data back ?
Highly unlikely, but entirely possible nonetheless. Use despicable marketing tactics, and see them backfire against you.
