hmmm must be a brand-new program because couldn't find any reliable review of it on the NET. I've just tried a couple of tests and looks like it does what it claims.

This tool could be useful to view Flash content without having to download any Flash player in your machine; it can also be used to compile a Flash library.

However I believe that FLASH technology is becoming less relevant day by day, especially in the MOBILE sector, due to the recent development and evolution of HTML 5 web technology, which now includes audio and video elements as well.

In addition to that, Flash technology turned out to be very weak against hacking attacks in several occasion in the past.

Here is a superb note on FLASH from (late lamented) Steve Jobs, where he explained why Apple decided NOT to let iPads support Flash anymore:

For these reasons, I think that a FREE (& PORTABLE) tool like "VideoCacheView" by Nir Sofer may be much more useful for the masses (it can even identify SWF and image files in the cache folder of your Internet Browser):

What do you make of it, dudes?

Anyway, IE, FIREFOX and SAFARI can also use (for FREE of course) Sothink SWF Catcher ADDON to capture flash content:

Another nice FREEWARE alternative to download SWF animations from any webpage (Flash games, Flash cards and Flash presentations) and then save them as SWF or as VIDEO CLIPS on your local disk, is also this:

Enjoy!!

Anna, open up extensions in Chrome, then drag the .crx file onto the extensions page. It will install it that way.

The latest Google Chrome won't let the add-on be installed, it says it only allows for installations from Chrome web store...

What is the point if all of the necessary addons for this aren't included and must be bought separately?

Here we go again with email registration issues!

I followed the registration instructions precisely, going to the URL contained in the readme file, entering my email address (a "throwaway" address I have reserved especially for use for this kind of purpose), and submitted it. I then checked my inbox, opened the confirmation request email from Sourcetec and clicked on the confirmation link it contained - and then waited...

... and waited...

... and waited...
