This was a big disappointment. This Giveaway looks like an extremely stripped down KeePass Password Safe. Uninstalled and thumbs down. KeePass Password Safe offers 1000% more and is free The program allowed me to not decide where the new database would be. It complained only that it did not exist.
For what it's worth, Norton blocked and removed this download.
Lack of integration with browsers is a deal-breaker for me, and many people won't like the .NET 2.0 requirement. I have to agree with other comments that Sticky Password (a former giveaway) is the best password manager which I've used, integrates with all major browsers except Safari (not sure why a Windows user would want to use that, anyway). I'm sure that Sticky Password's database encryption can be broken (I'm sorry if that's cryptic, no pun intended), but an attacker would have to know that I'm using it and obtain a copy of the password database.
#4, GMMan, A+, Game Modder, that's interesting but it gave me an error on a working network. Windows 7 has by far the best network troubleshooter which I've ever used. While we're talking about network issues, I remember someone saying that they only bought cheap routers. Most people don't realize just how critical and different routers are. I recommend buying current big-name routers, it makes a huge difference to all sorts of network issues, including obvious things like assigning IP addresses, to not so obvious browser issues, security, network performance, wireless performance, network device recognition, network maps, etc. Newer routers have features out the wazoo, like media serving and file sharing via attached hard disks, USB printer sharing, optimization based on uplink speed, traffic prioritization, etc.
Here's my take on these Password safe GOTD programs(not that anyone cares). It is pointless because if something happens, and you have to reinstall the OS, or revert back to an system image created before the Giveaway was given then you lose it all. No retrieving your passwords, unless you buy the program or install a trial, and sometimes trials are limited in what they can do. Keepass is free, works just as good and will never expire.
Well to be frank i never liked an encrypting and password protection program that was ever given from GAOTD, this program has a two process.
1) You manually give the website and the name and password (which i think is mandatory in every password manager)
2) The next Windows opens which tells the user to drag and drop the Username and the Password in the username box of forums and yahoo entry box'x : which to be frank is quite irritating.
Password Manager Deluxe Windows doesn't look crispy like its got a real snappy quality. Sticky Password Manager is way better then this program,,,,,,,
Sorry this i got to uninstall it man. THUMPS DOWN.

evet kesinlikle bu proğramlar güvenli değil. çünkü elinle ayağınla şifre ve bilgilerini onlara teslim etmiş oluyorsunuz. benim görüşüm bu. ayrıca böyle değilde klasör kilidine benzer bir proğram (şahsa ait) olsa adaha güvenli olur.yani internete bağlı kalmadan. selamlar.
