ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors is the feature-rich office suite, that allows you to open, create and edit documents, presentations and spreadsheets in different tabs of the same window, compatible with Microsoft Office and OpenDocument file formats, among others. Where's the Linux version of this software? I downloaded from a Linux PC, so expected a .deb file rather than .exe.

It looks like ONLYOFFICE is competing with the Microsoft & Google biz office solutions, though with the potential handicap of having no iOS or Android apps.
The ONLYOFFICE FAQ [ helpcenter[.]onlyoffice[.]com/faq/faq.aspx ] says:
"ONLYOFFICE is a multifunctional portal for business collaboration, document and project management."
"ONLYOFFICE is for small and mid-size companies looking for an effective platform for business process management."
"It is the first editor built in HTML5 taking advantage of the Canvas abilities while all other existing online editors use HTML4."
On today's GOTD page it says that today's offer comes with a 30 day trial of their ONLYOFFICE portal [hosted on Amazon], while they have an open source Community Server you can freely use. The Desktop Editors themselves are free for individual home use -- the GOTD is for the Business Edition... since there's only the one download referenced on their site, it seems to me that the difference is licensing rather than software.
