I explored Lorien Cleaner a few days ago

The interface is intermittent, different things respond differently when doing the same thing, such as clicking none thing and another item toggles, click again, and a different item toggles, bad translations of nonsensical technical terms, plus there are no explanations or controls over what happens when the program does anything, though I exited pretty fast and denied turning the program loose, appears to be in pre-alpha stage, not even ready for beta-test.

Conclusion: Not Ready For Prime Time Yet, NRFPTY, Nerf Putty.

I suggest to Eldamar Studio that they improve the program between offers instead of hawking to all over without fixing what's wrong.

Terry I, I've tried quite a few of these clean up programs in the past but have never stuck to using them because as you quite rightly point out Windows has a perfectly set of good tools for keeping your PC optimized and only cleans what needs cleaning. Third party software tends to look for problems where there aren't any and unless you are an expert user you should never touch registry files, obsolete registry files are simply ignored and use negligible space, especially on todays larder drives. Just one word of advice for those of you using SSD drives there is really no need to trim them and it shortens their life.

Blackhat, I can understand the point you are making but not all system optimizers are rubbish. Some are a collection of windows utilities put together in one neat package. WinUtilities is an example? I have used for years and never had issue, but i agree about reg cleaners, they are not needed.

Do you also believe that Kerish Doctor or Revo Uninstaller is rubbish? Ccleaner 5.32.6 is still out there if anyone want to go look, its the last and best of the good Ccleaners

Saying what i said i wouldnt touch lorien cleaner even for free.
