SMLME, GAOTD states that it is free, yet you state:-

So which is it, free or limited time period?

This normally means free lifetime updates. GOTD software does not include updates.

Having checked out the screenshots on this page and then visited the publisher's website via the above link I would guess that one of the biggest drawbacks to this software will be the quality of the translations from (presumably) Chinese to English...
