I use the portable version of Xnview to resize my images, It works fine for me. So unless someone can tell me that this is much better than Xnview I will pass.

brenda, with this program you can resize to any ratio you want and keep the correct ratio of the important parts. With editors like xnview you have to tick the keep aspect ratio box and therefore can only resize with the same ratio if yoy don't want the subject to look incorrect. It actually adds bits to the picture to achieve this. Nothing like a normal resizer. Check the homepage above and it will show you examples.

I use Quick Image Resizer, a similar program.
Very useful for re- sizing 2-4MB photo's to 300kb one's - makes emailing multiple photo's very easy.
Photo quality degradation is not noticeable, especially on smart phones.
