A spectacularly illiterate yet long-established pioneering specialist in data security that no-one has heard of without a registered office or identifiable address but with millions of customers of whom I'm unaware of a single one means I'd have to be a boy who really was soft in the head to allow 'File Protector' anywhere near my computer.
Whether free today or or not, this ludicrous example of rentalware hasn't a chance in the face of innately superior always-free protection from credible resources like Axcrypt, Veracrypt, or the excellent SafeHouse:

as well as umpteen other freewares of lesser capability.

No choice about a folder:

I did protect a folder:

And I assigned two program's to access a file in that folder:

With the explorer it seems to work, no entry:

BUTI started another Windows on that machine and could access all files and folders.
Maybe the program only protect folders and files in the same Windows
