I had a very old 2014 version of the software, and cannot successfully install this Version 2. I've uninstalled the old version, and then installed the new version, but the software keeps blocking my new installation. I get an error message telling me that my license has expired before I am offered the chance to enter my new license key! Advice please?

Does this only work with Doc and Pdf files? If no, does it work with all files? If no, which other file types does it work with or which ones not, whichever list is shorter. Thank you.
