Works well (pdf part), if I set compression to "normal". A bit better compression ratio then my old Adobe Acrobat, approximately the same speed.
But when I set compression to "size", hoping in even better compression, it converted all pages to images, resulting in a larger file with not searchable /selectable texts. Oops! Bug or feature? Maybe for "only image" pdf it is ok, but it happens without warning, there are no settings, controls...
I tried "size" option first and I almost uninstalled the program...

PS In a presentation with many images (500 pages, 40 MB) compression rate with "normal" settings is about 50%, but there is visible loss of image quality. Setting "quality" looks better, but the final file size is almost the same as the original.
Disturbing...

Not good. I compressed a PDF file 134 MB in size, and after "compression" it came in at 139 MB. Am I doing something wrong?

After successfully activating my VIP account for the downloaded ApowerCompress v1.1.12, it appears the activation is only valid for 1 year. The description above says nothing about a 1-year license. I usually don't install apps that die after a period of time. Too bad; wish this would have been an actual software giveaway.

RC, on the "man page of this GOTD https://www.giveawayoftheday.com/apowersoft-pdf-compressor/ you cyn see in the right column (blue background) System requirements etc., there are also license details (here: 1-year license). I normally avoid limited-time licenses, but this time I give it a try - I use this functionality and if it works better then my current sw, I can buy it (or maybe it re-appear here)...
