What happens after 1 year; are backups still available? Do I have to pay for a key/license to access my backups after 1 year?

With the option tools you can make a bootable version of aomei-backupper (option make bootable media) and this can then be used indefinitely.

Hello, what it means 1 year licence? The software wont be working after 1 year? The last time I installed software from here it was working forever, there was only updates limitation...

The license term depends on the publisher. Some offer 6 months, others 1 year, some give forever(without upgrades), etc. I assume when this particular 1-year license expires, the program will revert to the "standard" free version. You can see the differences between editions on the chart on their site. ( https://www.ubackup.com/edition-comparison.html )

Use it to also make a bootable disc of the program itself. it WON'T EXPIRE. if you later boot on it you can Restore whatever disc images you've saved.
