How can I make it stop opening my browser to a 50% discount sale each and every time I start the program? I had an earlier version and uninstalled it for this. That was a big mistake. Please publisher tell us how to turn off the browser opening. Great program but poor sales tactics.
I had the previous version and works well. Does all kinds of conversions. Format to Format conversion.
@2 JAC - no it does not remove DRM.
@3 Allen - For VHS to DVD I purchased an analog to digital decoder. After you do that you change the format. Mine comes out as MPEG then I change it to what I want using this converter. This is for homemade VHS only. Most decoders sold now prevent you from transferring old commercial VHS which have macro vision protection.
I have spent some time trying to delete files from the program to prevent the browser opening. I have been unsuccessful. I will uninstall this from my computer. Thank you publisher for the use of your program over the years. I started with your first offering here and upgraded each tome you offered us an upgrade.
However I will not suffer through your heavy handed sale tactics. Therefore I respectfully request that you reissue this program to us. But leave out the browser opening. For now I will switch to Video to Video as recommended by Giovanni. It's portable and free plus no browser opening.
Nice app but,alas, appears to have built in advertising ( like the ashampoo stuff ) with annoying browser launch on start.
