Please follow the instructions of Giveawayoftheday to install Streaming Audio Recorder on your computer. You only need to enter key code and you have to activate the program within today.

After installing this software, please test your audio devices to make sure they perform well. And you will have two options to record streaming audio.
Record Sound: in order to record your system sound, please forward to the top menu on main interface, click "Audio Input" - "System Sound" and then hit "Start".
Record Microphone Sound: also click "Audio Input" but choose "Microphone" as audio input.
Both: select "System sound and microphone" under "Audio Input" if you want to record both streams.

Downloaded and installed, activated.
Tested it to record sound from a Youtube video.
Set the output folder to a particular one in my PC.

1st try: No sound.

Checked Control Panel
The installation of Apowersoft Streaming Audio Recorder has inserted itself as the default audio device into the PC. (This is BAD)

Changed the defaults back to Realtek HD Audio for input and output.

2nd try: No sound

Checked Control Panel
Untick the [Use only default devices] box.

Apparently the PC is still registering that Apowersoft was previously set to be default device. (I suppose if I had done a [Restart], the PC would recognise Realtek HD Audio as the latest default device.

3rd try: Everything works and Apowersoft can record loud and clear.

The recording automatically found the singer and title of the song in the Youtube video of Bangkok during Christmas 2011, which I have been trying to find. The Christmas song was Sleigh Ride by Ella Fitzgerald.

This ability to identify a song as it is being recorded is Excellent.

Downloaded and installed pretty easily. Tried it for 5 min and its UI is also user friendly, it could use a bit of creativity and make the program look a little more modern. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about. Input settings can be adjusted and it has a feature that audacity doesn't have, the ability to record from the sound card and microfone at the same time.
Definitely needs a thumbs up or 2 extra. That's my 2 cents worth.
